    Hello forum members ,

    My name is Deogratias (Deo), from Tanzania ( East Africa).
    I'm happy to be a forum member.

    I'm more interested with Chinese sport bikes , i would like to create a thread for Chines sport bikes so we could exchange ideas about the bikes.

    We will have lots of chat here!!

    I wish i could have a bike to post.
    Im confused between two engine brands for the same bike, which are zongshen and Yingang. Both are 250cc, water cooled, DOHC Engines. Both produce same power but at different rpm.
    Do you have any idea about this two Engines durability and performance?

    For this question we need somebody else to answer as I am not at all an expert for chinese engines.
    I am sure the guys with the chinese two wheelers can provide information.

    Welcome to MCM. Use the advanced search function and you'll find strong posts on the Yingang and decent posts on the Zongshen. Then you can start asking detailed questions.

    hi deo,

    in reference to engine choices iv heard the zongshen 250 being a newer designed is still less powerful as the yingang 250 which is based on the honda NX250 engine
    without knowing the exact bikes and the pictures this is what i assume from what has been posted and the details give.

    I have attached image of the sport bike.
    Below are engine specs:

    Yingang 250 Engine,
    250 water cooled,single cylinder4stroke, DOHC 4 valves, (Honda NX250 Copy)
    70mm diameter piston gives 65mm stroke with 11:1 compression ratio
    Max Torque 22N.M/7500r/min
    Carburetor: TK PZ30V
    6 Speed

    Any comment on performance and reability....

    now thats what iv been hoping for to see that engine in a sports style bike what a beauty
    there are a few threads about that engine in the yingang and the shineray most being very positive

    The bike realy look beautiful
    whats confuse me is the engine, is it manufactured by Yingang and Shineray or are they different??!!
    They all have the same power and same structure. Chinese engine mix my head up!! ehehe!
