Hi everyone.
i bought an 08 plate Superbyke Rmr the other week, at first it started ok but with a little bit of struggle.. wherever i went id have to drive with the choke on for a good bit before i could put it back down for the bike not to cut off at traffic lights etc...
so the other day i tried starting it and wasnt wanting to start, so i got it started by bump starting and it worked!... for about 5 minutes haha then it would just die everytime i pulled the throttle, iv took the carb off, cleaned them and everything.. also checked the spark plug which is getting a spark but it still just wont start.. has anyone else had this problem? if so please help!
Thanks in advance!

My experience is that carburetor shows all the symptoms of a bad tuned carb when it gets cold. Maybe, with this setting, it worked correctly during the summer and warm autumn days, but now not.
My English is poor, so it is difficult for me to walk you through this process, but it's really not a big deal - twisting two screws with screwdriver and checking the color of soot on the spark plug electrodes.
By the way, if you ride your bike in cold weather, it wouldn't be bad to find "hotter" spark plug.Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

Hi i turned one off the screws like you said and the big eventually started after having to bump start it, once it started i let it idle for about 10 mins but evertime i turned the throttle the bike would then just die, do you know why this is?
Thankyou

Make sure you have the petcock figured out on that bike you may have it on reserve? It has a small arrow on it make sure it is pointing to the etching of full, which mean the larger part of the valve knob is pointing down, it is sort of counter intuitive.
