CF650TR - Horn stopped working
Hi All
Coming upto just under 2000 miles, and I've come across my first problem. The horn has stopped working, I have a feeling it'll be a loose connection, as I have managed to get it to sound, very occasionally. Aside from the 2 spade connectors on the horn, which appear to be on fine, but I will look closer tomorrow, when the engine has cooled down, are there any other connections to check, can the switch connection be checked easily, or, am I going to have to get a whole new replacement switch gear?
How long it has been like this, I couldn't tell you, as I very rarely use the horn.
Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony
BikerDoc had the same problem on his TR I can't recall the outcome but from memories I think it's the switch? I am sure if BickerDoc reads the post he will chip in but he is away on a course just now and not due back until the 10th.
Re: CF650TR - Horn stopped working
Hi there
I had the chance to have a butchers this morning, as it happened, all I had to do was loosen the horn adjuster screw on the horn, perhaps it became to tight with the heat? Anyhow, once I'd done that, all was fine and dandy again.
Cheers
Tony
Oh, prince, I don't think I've thanked you personally for bringing my stuff from bikerdoc over to the UK, so, I'm saying thanks now :-)
