I see a JH600 sidecar rig on E-Bay. According to the seller it is EPA and DOT approved. Also it has reverse and what appears to be a driven sidecar wheel. Can anyone confirm this?

Whoa! Sounds interesting. I just looked on ebay and didn't see anything. Happen to have a link?

I've never heard of this bike being tested for North American regulatory certificates. Either way, the item is in Beijing and the cost of shipping it out would be stupid expensive.
Unless you were going to ride it on private property like a farm, I don't think it would be possible to register in the US or Canada. Maybe Europe?
I thought some of these were slotted to head to Europe at one point in time? Maybe Franki can pitch in...

I had a friend of mine check out Jialing's sales office in Florida. They report that the bike is not EPA/DOT certified (contrary to the seller on E-Bay) and Jialing has no intentions of bringing it to the states. It seems their Florida sales office is helping bring the bike to South America though.

Jim, I saw this rig on a website (Jialing's I believe). I remember they stated it was for the PLA and / or other Chinese authorities as a replacement for the Jiangs. Can't find it anymore.

We opened up our sidecar and examined the circuit board; we found that the C6 capacitor was not soldered to both pads. Has anyone else opened up their sidecar and examined the circuit board?
Quantee,
I think we may need more detailed info on this. Also, it may be worth starting a separate thread.
Are you a Jialing dealer in the US?
