Chinese motorcycle license in Thailand
Hello people,
I am new to this forum, nice to get to know you :)
My nationality is dutch and i am currently living and working in Shanghai with residence permit and Z visa.
I have a question.
Currently i do not have a motorcycle license.
But i am planning on making a motorcycle trip in Thailand, I would like to drive a tour from Chiang Rai to Pattaya.
I am wondering, if i get a motorcyle license in China, will i be allowed to use this in Thailand?
Greetings,
Betrman

Hi Betrman
In Chiang rai now as I post this reply , rode my Chinese plated bike from Hainan to Chiang rai at "all" borders my Chinese DL was ok ? But at the Thailand borders was asked For a IDP but when I explained I an not a tourist in china but have a resident permit all was
Ok if you have both IDP and a Chinese DL then you have ALL boxes ticked
But you can get away with just a Chinese DL
