Hi Phil, why would you need to "crack the code" given that a replacement ECU is pretty much plug-and-play. I've replaced two ECU's on two separate bikes, and neither had any significant issues after fitting the new ECU. Some have reported some off-idle fuel stumbles at low RPMs. This is remedied by plugging in the CFMoto/dealer plugin to reset the ECU fuel mapping.
