Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of Hyosungs that are sold in China, specifically the HS200GY model? I found it at a shop (among other tasty dual-sports) in my one-horse Gansu province town.:riding:

Buying a foreign bike in China! This should be added to the FAQs.
China does not import bikes, or maybe there is some rediculous import tax. Except for BMW, and Harley Davidson, most foreign bikes are smuggled into China illegally, and cannot be registered. Some are a salad of many bikes, and maybe fitted with wrong size wheels. Hence dangerous. Search through the site, most common advide is stay away. I'm only repeating the advice i read so many times before.
How are you getting the bike? Online, a dealer?

Looking at CrazyCarl's post, seems Hyosung has some presence in China. I know they're a Korean manufacturer, but i did not know they were selling in China. How much was the dealer asking for it? It similar to the Shineray X2, and that was on sale for 14800 rmb.
This particular bike was going for 10,000 rmb.
Hyosung HS200GY used to be available in China.
It was imported from Korea and assembled in Chongqing By Yinxiang LtD.

Jialing 150GY, Jialing Z3B and Lifan 200 seem to be more reliable than HS200
