Here's one thing we can thank close-circuit television for: more than ever, we get to see amazing crash survival techniques. You've no doubt seen the exploits of Brother Tricycle, Brother Running and Brother Train. Now you can add Brother Gymnast, a motorcycle rider in Wenzhou who flipped 360 degrees in the air and landed on his feet when his bike crashed into a small truck.
When the collision occurs, you can see him thrown high into the air and off screen, flipping in a full circle. He then saunters up to his motorbike and, seeing it destroyed, shakes his head in sadness. He left the scene before police could get there, and since the motorbike is unregistered, nobody knows who he is.

This could never happen in Shanghai. If this were in Shanghai the guy would finish his 360 flip, land on his feet, and then get hit by two or three more scooters/ebikes running the lights... Impressive nonetheless. :)

I noticed that the accident had "Chinese characteristics" ...
Here's a bike, crashed in traffic, and people are just going about their business ... gawking as they walk/drive by, but ignoring it. I guess people are afraid of being blamed, somehow.
