Kinlon electrical problem looking for some help.
Hey guys,
just got around to putting my new indicators , brake light , licence plate illum on my kinlon supermotard, all connected and working fine, except im having problems with the indicators.
Whenever I switch them on they both come on on both sides at the same time, no matter which indicator Left/right I switch on. Ive tried switching the indicator wiring front and rear to every combination, they must be right as when the wires are swapped over they wont work at all, so i think ive got the actual indicator wiring right, but maybe an earthing issue?
With the actual brake/licence illum wiring combo, Ive got one wire that is not being used, it is a dark army greenish colour wire (not the same colour as the brighter green colour wire or bright green/black wire all over the bike), ive got a feeling this is the earth, but still having it not connected the brake and licence illum lights work perfectly, so im confused. Ive connected this spare wire to a screw on my baffle to just see if the earthing solves it, and it seemed to make no difference, but when i turned on the lights which inturn turns on the licence plate illum light I blew a fuse?
IM LOST ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS...

Re: Kinlon electrical problem looking for some help.
Are the indicators LED? If yes, there's your problem. I tried them on my XF200 and they did the same. Do a search here under LED and you can see what others have done. I left mine stock as I found out the stock signals are brighter than the LED ones.

yeah they are led's. checked around found a few guys on other forums with same problem, quick fix was just to remove the indicator bulb on the speedo box, instant fix, disconnects the l and r indi circuits, all working now.
