Since quite some people here are probably slightly older than me, I thought some of you might be interested in the following concert:
The Eagles are playing in Beijing on the 12th of March, I've got my tickets last night.
They also do a concert in Shanghai, 1-2 days before I think. Check your SH websites for more info on that concert.
If I could see Joe Walsh doing some of his solo stuff I might go. I've always found that "Talkbox" thing he and Peter Frampton used pretty cool (also used by Tool on "Jambi"). I bought a couple of his records (vinyl even) in the 90's. I'm really not interested in seeing an arena rock show though. I much prefer to see bands in smaller venues where you can get up close. Let us know how the show is. Those guys must be in their 60's by now!
And yes, I was hoping you were going to be talking about bird sightings in this area :D. In my home town of Abbotsford, BC we can see eagles going after the salmon as they spawn in the nearby rivers.
