Intro
Hi,
I just joined the forum. I just bought a Laro 250 cruiser, manufactured in China. It's made in the same factory as the AJS Regal Raptor with a DD250E9B water cooled twin cylinder engine. It can be viewed at WWW.LARO.COM.AU. I've been riding since the 1980s and it's the first Chinese made bike I've had.
Just wanted to say hello.

Re: Intro
Welcome to MCM, jessman. Did you go for the Laro 250 or the V-Retro 250? Both look like fun bikes, and the Laro site makes them look like a reputable importer with a decent support network. Please heed the advice you'll find widely on this site and be sure you go over the whole bike to be sure every bolt is tight. Chinabikes are great, but some production lines have spotty quality control.
Whereabouts in Australia are you. We have quite a few members there, both active and lurkers.
cheers

Euphonius,
I went for the Laro 250. I live in Sydney, born and bred.
You're right about the bolts. I lost a left hand side cover on the second day because the screw was not securely fastened.
But to Laro's credit, they sent me a replacement part straight away wholesale.
