JH600B For Sale at a great price

Not mine ... not mine!

I came across an ad for a July, 2010 JH600B (sidecar), with only 4,500 kms on it. The ad is on a Harley website.

Asking price is 35,000 rmb, which is a GREAT deal (much less than what I paid for mine). New, you're looking at somewhere north of 50K by the time all is said & done.

Don't know the guy, don't know the bike, don't even know where it is! But it would still be under warranty, and these aren't very expensive to ship around China.

Anyways, thought I'd share the info with MCM people.

$5338.69 USD sounds reasonable to me for a 600cc bike and side car. I guess it is not EPA/DOT?

To my recollection Jialing, though it makes two or three million bikes a year, has made no effort to enter the US market.

Maybe that is why it is so cheap - maybe the guy never paid the tax, reg fees, etc - maybe it is a fake plate.

A tax-paid, fapiao-issued JH600B will add about 5K or 6K to the 44K base price, then you've got reg fees, road tax, insurance, etc.

Hmmmmm - interesting.

5400 for a chinese bike is cheap? wow really.....you could buy a milll CBR600hondas for that price

You asked the same question in the JH600B thread already and your question was already answered. If you have doubts or whatever simply phone Jialing factory in Chongqing (Mandarin skills/ability needed), and you will likely be told that the JH600B (sidecar) MSRP ~48500 or thereabouts. Add your taxes etc to that and you are looking Northwards of around CNY50K.

Even a quick search on Taobao will help you get a guage of what the prices are...

Oh my! I asked the same question on two forums re. the price of a JH600B sidecar on the road...(as the company website does not include this info) .and one forum dates back to 2011 ....well that should tell you how frequented these forums are as your rolling eyes seem to be the only ones not sleeping on here.
