CCM230 and maybe Loncin LX250 de cork !
Found the intake of my CCM230 had a "restrictor" pushed into the airbox intake that cut down the available intake area to about 25% of the original size .Attachment 3644
With it removed Attachment 3645
I put a 120 main jet in , from Scooter Assassins , and the bike now goes much better - pulls better throughout the rev range , cannot say its any faster as it is still running in and revs out in top gear despite the +1T front sprocket .
If you have this in your air intake to the filter box take it out but make sure you upjet to suit - mine was a guess at 120 but seems about right - have also removed the EGR/air injection gubbins too .

Interesting. I have similar TICs in my bike. Will have to think about giving the engine more air and fuel.

Yep , most bikes have an intake silencer or snorkel but this is the first bike I have had where it was an obvious "restriction" . I am not usually too much into "tuning" as the designers pretty much know what they are doing ! Though the Chinese bikes do give you more scope for genuine improvements than the average !
