First, there is no CdP in China, neither issued nor accepted.
Where do you want to go? CdP is required for India, Pak, Mal, Iran Singapore to the best of my knowledge. Don't know about Indonesia but all the other countries don't require one. Don't forget to get yourself a temporary export permit for your bike - this will let you re-import it without hassles.
Check the HUBB, good resources for ths kind of questions.

how about Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Countries which are easy accessible from China.
Laos, Cambodia, Thailand - no problem. Vietnam is the same as China, a no go except you are willing to spend $$$$$$Quote:
