new pulse adrenaline owner
hi all,
thought id say hello.
im new to this motorbike thing (had cars since i was old enough to drive) but fuel and insurance costs have caused me to swap from my v70 t5 to a bike.
my buddy has always had bikes and quads, and he would mock me every day for not giving up to the dark side and getting a bike, so now the dirty deed has been done and a shiny new 2011 pulse adrenaline 125 carries me to work every day and takes me out for rides that i just couldnt afford to do in a car anymore.
its more fun than i imagined and the cbt wasnt as hard as i feared, i wish id gone over sooner!
im only just due a first service and wondered what peoples opinion of dealer servicing just to keep a warranty was.
i work in a motor factors and im good on the tools too, so im going to tackle as much as i can with the forums advice, ive ordered a new oil filter through work and have access to castrol oils at the right price, so im inclined to save my £45 and do it myself, is the warranty worth preserving?
thanks for hanging in there through a long first post :lol8:
i hope this forum is as welcoming as my old volvo one was!
cheers for now
James
Re: new pulse adrenaline owner
Dear James,
Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on taking the plunge. Now wipe that shit-eating grin off your face; you're having too much fun.
You'll be pleased to know there are quite a few Adrenaloids in your neck of the woods, and several from your near vicinity (i.e., somewhere in blighty) here in MCM. You'll find a lot of info about your bike here, so don't hesitate to fire up the search button and key in "pulse" or "adrenaline". Happy reading, and happy riding.
You must realize, however, that it's practically mandatory to post pix of your bike, especially in highly compromised situations. There are those who say your bike doesn't exist until pix of it appear in MCM. Is it muddy yet?
cheers
Re: new pulse adrenaline owner
Thanks for the welcome mate, as soon as I get in front of a pc I'll get some pics up, as for fun, yep loads if you count dropping it in the second week of ownership! Guess my ambition outweighed my talent for a brief moment ha ha.
Cheers, james
Re: new pulse adrenaline owner
Bikes like the adrenaline were made to be dropped. If you are NOT dropping it from time to time, you are not really riding it.
But please try to stay upright, will you?
cheers!
