While properly cleaning my bike today I felt/found a dent in my front rim, and furthermore a 2-3 cm crack in the sidewall of my tire! :confused1:
First of all would it still be possible to have the rim repaired, and if so "did anyone ever had a rim repaired in China?"
I will also check with the Jialing factory tomorrow to see what the price for a new one is!
Well, this weekend I went up to the Guangzhou bike market to find spares for my CB400, my front rim was very badly damaged, there is a place that beaks down old Japanese bikes, they offered to repair my rim for about 250RMB, however in the end we both agreed that my rim was too badly damaged (it had been monkey mechanic fixed about 10 times before), so I ended up buying a nice second hand rim from them which they are spraying the same colour as my current one (will pick it up in a few days), So there is a place that can fix rims.. not sure if they do a good job or not, but there is a place.
