Filled up at a Shell service staion for the 1st time in China today!

I noticed a new Shell station, also the first one I've ever seen in mainland China, probably a joint venture with Sinopec or something, and filled up with 93. Did about 90 kilometers on their fuel, wasn't noticeably better or worse than fuel I'm used to, but we are near to oil fields and refineries in this area so our fuel tends to be fairly pure.

The station was new and clean, and also had a well stocked shop with cold drinks! They allowed me to fill up at the pump without complaint too! :clap:

They said they had been open for about a week.

There's 3 or 4 of these in Suzhou. According to the Google they are indeed joint ops between Shell and Sinopec.

I wondered how long they would to take to catch up/work out that it is the little nick nacks (cigarettes,milk,food and drinks etc) bought at a service stations that make the money not the petrol.

Do they have provision for putting air in your tires yet?
