Shanghai Bike Meeting

G'Day,

Just a thought, how about organising a Shanghai MCM bike meeting in February (Saturday or Sunday) somewhere in the suburbs as "out of town rego / plated bikes" and bike owners based in Zhejiang / Jiangsu provinces can attend easily as well.

The next F1 track-day might be a good idea or the German style restaurant WIRTSHAUS (1366 HuQingPing Highway inside the Silport Golf Academy / Driving Range) comes to mind....
Meeting in the Wirtshaus might be a better idea as food and beverage is readily available and they have ample parking and a beer garden out front just in case the weather warms up.

Interested, feedback anyone? Of course the "no rain rule applies" as I really hate rain in this lovely country while riding a motorbike.......

sounds good to me! and would be joined by a few fellow expat riders

Nice idea, I am in.
And on the F-1 track days, forget it for such MCM event.
These trackdays come out of the blue, and even then can be suddenly cancelled as well.

Talked to the WIRTSHAUS managing partner last night and he is fine with the day and event, food + beverage available from WIRTSHAUS restaurant.

Okay so the plan is meet at Wirtshaus on Sunday 26th Feb. at Noon, right?

The Saga continues; there is a 50/50% chance I will not be in CN that time, as I am leaving ~15, and might not be back.
If I am in SH, I will attend though!

Let me know if I can do someting on the organising though, although I might be limited in my capabilities this time.

Looks like fun. If anyone else is riding out from Shanghai, let's set a meeting point and ride out together. I have no idea where this place is, nor how long it'll take to get there!

G'Day Eric,Hope you can make it to the meeting. nothing needs to be arranged, food + beverage is readily available from the WIRTSHAUS.Should be a relaxed MCM members meeting, absolute no interest in MC / HOG style gatherings.Let's see how everything turns out and the bike meeting might develop into a regular monthly Shanghai MCM event.
