Hello from Jakarta, Indonesia
Hello everybody at MCM...

Benelli BJ600GS or Benelli Hurricane 600 (which they called it here) will be launch at the latest end of April 2012 (if the schedule not change)....
I am thinking to get this Benelli instead of ER-6n which is already launch here with price tag around US$ 10K....
currently i am using 2011 ninja 250r (attached) and hopefully Benelli have a good quality built and will be my second motorcycle...
cheers all....

Dear Shadow,
Welcome to MCM and very much hope you can be an early owner of one of the Benelli chinabikes. Lots of folks waiting for feedback on these! You've already seen my review of the Qianjiang QJ600GS aka Benelli BJ600GS; surely there are other MCM members who've ridden this bike by now.
cheers!

"Business Development Manager Joel Kusuma Benelli Motor Indonesia explained that preparation of the launch of Benelli motorcycle brand in Indonesia is currently being prepared carefully. "If there is no obstacle we will launch in February," he explained, Monday (16/1).
However, the exact date of arrival of the motor is in the country should wait for certainty schedule Benelli Italian officials, who planned to be also present at the ceremonial launch of Benelli in Indonesia.
At first, Benelli will be fielded three major motor models such as the Benelli Cafe Racer 1130, Century Racer Benelli 899 and Benelli Tre-K 1130, which is also prepared to pave the way Benelli in Indonesia.
"We actually have a lot of products. Want our sport bike or scooter there. Of the 150 cc, 250 cc up to a thousand cc are also available. For the first three first bike," explains Joel.
"After that, we will incorporate other models of small air-cc. So his brothers once we enter a new, younger siblings," said Joel."

Dear MJH and Shadow,
This quote above would indicate the the 600 is NOT in the first batch, so hopefully there's been a change of plans. Would love to see the QJ600GS in the wild getting some road testing!
cheers

I think it is implied that they will bring over all models, I would expect to see all of the models eventually including the 250cc motard. Which makes total sense since Indonesia is a huge market and perfect test market to drive Chinese domestic sales.
