From Canada with Love

Okay so I'm not in Canada right now but the wife and I are thinking about China as the next destination. We are currently on a two year roll through the Americas, about 80,000km, and will finish up in a few months.

We were thinking about leaving the big bikes at home and buying some local bikes to tour with. Any ideas? It is complicated to move bikes across oceans and borders so If we just stay in China, we might as well get some local rides.
