its most likely to make the bike run even leaner so you'll have to adjust teh carb to allow a richer mix then the throttle responce will be better midrange should be abit more noticeable

Main jet for your carb, you have size 97.5 as standard, I went for a 105 so you should probably do the same and see how it goes. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2208286564...84.m1439.l2649
When I did mine I got slightly better acceleration and top speed, the results may differ with your model as I think you have a different exhaust to what I had at the time I put my air filter on.
