hi guys has any1 got some pics or a video of how to do a gear oil change on a hongdou urban dz 125.
i do no my way around a bike :rolleyes1: but have never done a gear oil change :eek2: and am just unsure on a chinese bike.
do i need a new oil plug seal or anything like that also whats a good gear oil 2 use on this bike :icon10:
Is that a 2 or 4 stroke?
The oil change must be the same as any other engine put there. Unscrew plug -> Drain old oil - > Change filter (or clean mesh if there is no filter) -> Screw back plug -> Put oil in -> Check level.
Any 15-40W or better 20-50W WITHOUT additives is OK. Go for the cheaper ones with API SJ or SF. SL usually have lot's of anti-slippage additives that are not good for the clutch. That's if your bike has a clutch at all :icon10:
It's a 4 stroke. I have done the engine oil change. But never done the gear oil change it's a 125cc manual clutch and gear. I was told there is 2 screws 2 open but where r they?

humanbeing - i didnt no that the "engine + gear" share the same oil thanks, i wonderd why i couldnt see where 2 drain the gear box oil lol.
she has just failed MOT on rear shock lower bush can any1 tell me where i can get parts for this bike?
