QLink throttle cable loose on carb
So before I tear into this thing I'd like some advice. I wanted to make sure I'm doing this right.

Here's the problem. When the throttle is rolled all the way forwards I get what felt like a flat spot. But it's just the loose cable. Any specific way to tighten this and take up some of the slack?

If this is not a trick question, I will write - yes, there is a certain way to eliminate slack. First, set the idle, and than, by turning threaded cable guides, you will tight the cables. Easy peasy!

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I assumed but I'm new to bikes. I've turned wrenches on cars for a while now but I'm still learning my chinese bike =D
Re: QLink throttle cable loose on carb
Your left cable looks fine. On the right one, turn the adjustment bolt (that the cable goes through) counter-clockwise until the cable slack is gone. Then tighted the locking nuts (top ones) on both adjusters. Roll your throttle all the way open and let go. It should snap back quickly. It is doesn't, loosen the lock nut on the left one and turn the adjuster bolt clockwise a bit and re-tighten the nut. You may have to play with this a bit to get it right.
