Does anyone know if the kinlon 125 gy 06 model has a restrictor somewhere?
Change the sprocket if the previous owner didn't. Stock GY (on/off) config NEVER suits on road ONLY condition.
The "cat" in exhaust is always the #1 enemy. Tune the carb : high rev = main jet / float height | mid rev = neddle height ( different notch) | low rev = mix screw

After that mod it can archive at least 65mph if it's healthy.
Thanks for the advice :) but will probably leave it as is as I can get around the 60 Mark as it is so would be a lot of effort for not a lot of return. Is as actually thi.king about changing the sprocket to get that little bit more topend because let's be honest these bikes where only really designed to be used as an on road bike. Having riden and owned many a motocrosser there is no way these things could be anygood for anything other than a flat field or a small dirt track lol
