I just picked up a 110cc 152fmh and it has no spark, but I know what your going to say "ignition coil " I have ordered one it will be here in a few days and can't wait. My question is how can I test other components while I wait on my coil. Stator, source coil, cdi, and rectifier. I believe that the cdi is ok used multimeter on it but not sure i know what i'm looking at. I will post pics soon to better explain. thanks

Do some carb clenaning, valve adjustment, cleaning and lubricating chain, while you wait. In any case, these jobs would be waiting for you after coil installing.

Carb is already soaking, going to do oil change and chain tomarrow. BUT I think the coil isn't the problem!!!!! I checked the ignition coil with multimeter and I think it is good.

So I polished out the rust, and thie pick up spots then checked with multimeter;

The only one I didn't get a reading on the part i think is called the exciter coil.
Is this part bad? Sorry first time using multimeter. I also checked blue/white wire to CDI for breaks it was ok.

Not to forget: according to the manual I have for horizontal engines, the primary coil resistance should be between 0,1 to 1 Ohm, and the secondary, with the spark plug cap - 7000-9000 ohm, and without spark plug cap - 3000-4000 ohm.
