Cool people are riding bikes....but why a 400KG lifestyle statement when you can have a 200kg bike that costs a fraction of the price, goes faster and handles better? I'll never understand it.

I guess it's "just because I can" thing. C'mon, wouldn't you get a Harley if you could just randomly fork out > 100K RMB?

100k RMB won't get you much of a tractor (HD) in the motherland. Blasted past a group of HOG'ers the other day in Anjii (Zhejiang) on my JH600B-A sidecar, are they going always this slow.......

Last I checked Sportster 883 was 108.000 RMB.
They're going so slow 'cause the bigger part of them have that as their first bike.
And they ride it weekends :)
And they talk more than they ride.

I just noticed that the China HOG forum bypassed MCM, yesterday, in total registered members. :sad:

I'm not sure how that happened because I think you need to be a HOG member to sign up in the HOG forum. And I'm pretty sure there aren't >6,000 HDs registered in China.

BTW, we are still just a speck compared to China's motorfans (over half a million members). I think HOG worldwide has exceeded a million members.

We need a marketing campaign. Free beer for new members, courtesy Carl, ChinaV and Jape! Champagne for existing MCM members with >1,000 posts! (Still waiting for my red star)
