regal raptor 350 problems

need some advice on couple of things.

having start up problems sounds like engine is dry, then afterwards its ok.

cant go to 3rd gear for long, EFI will light up and engine dies while running at 60 plus.. for no apparent reason... not happens always but its getting more frequent. running in 2nd gear is good but i would rather ride a scoot if im always on 2nd gear..

is it the air filter? clutch gear problem? battery connections? yes my battery connection is coroded need to grind it from time to time.

dont know where is my air filter, where can i check it?

Start up sounds like bike is being fuel starved, so the guess is an EFI sensor is playing up.

customer service is really non existing here in china. the mechanic until now hasnt arrive and i found the probable culprit, a leak below the engine cover that they replaced a year ago, if was replace because it was punctured in a crash avoiding the taxi who dont know where his going. i guess the leak was there when it was installed..... will this destroy my engine? hope not...

Oil leaking top of engine? Sounds like a gasket, a very easy and cheap fix in China, but you need a mechanic that isn't lazy to fix it, you also need to convince the mechanic that you'll pay for the part before he orders it. Keep checking your oil level and all should be OK.

thanks ZMC a new battery fixed the start ups the leak needs to wait for a month till the mechanic arrives.
