Hi there i have a sinnis apache 125 58 plate. When i start it from cold within 30 seconds the bike starts to run at 4-5000 rpm. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I have tried playing with the idle screw but this does not make a change. I need to get it fixed before it starts to break my camshaft and cylinder head.

Hi there mate thanks for reply. Cleaned the carb and still no change. Do you have any other ideas. All ideas will be much appreciated.
Maybe check the cylinder head and the gasket? If it sucks air from the gap of the cylinder head, then that kind of thing could happen.
Other than that, are you completely sure you have your carb well adjusted?
In theory your engine is getting too much air from somewhere, and it will kill the engine if you don't fix it.
