Hi, I recently wrote my Pulse Adrenaline off after three weeks on the road (some lovely chap in a Merc SLK not checking his mirrors before moving off)
Long story short, it was Cat C, with hardly any damage apart from cosmetic, broken right switch cluster and bent handlebars. I've got the bike back and replaced the handlebars with a nice pair of Renthals, but the switch clusters don't fit it properly due to notches which fit into holes on the previous handlebars (holes aren't present on the new ones, and clusters are sort of loose on the handlebars so spin around slightly, which is affecting the throttle response slightly)
I've been riding the bike again for a couple of weeks but I suppose it's time to fit them properly...
Does anyone know the best way to get them to fit? I'm not too keen on having to drill holes in my handlebars (I'd assumed if this was standard practice the holes would be present on the Renthals, but I do suppose that would limit options of positioning the switches) but I will drill the holes if I have to. I previously tried cutting the notch off the left one but this was a weak attempt and most of the notch remains.
If anyone could get back to me on this one I'd be very appreciative, it's my first bike so I'm quite new to all this stuff so sorry if you think I'm a noob lol!
