Hello from well, Beijing!
Been a lurker on MCM, drooling over the amazing bikes, awesome ride reports and stunning photos of China's scenery, so thought I'd make the leap and actually sign-up!
Was based in London (although not actually from London), where I had worked before coming to Beijing in early 2012. Now looking at possible business projects to pursue here in the Middle Kingdom.
Just to disclose that I'm fairly new to two wheeled modes of transport. Coming from a tropical country, Brunei (yes, that tiny country with the famous and famously rich Sultan), I've always been a car guy, but have discovered the joys of two-wheeled transportation here in Beijing. I'm currently scooting around Beijing on my souped up e-scooter, so admittedly, I haven't made the leap to an actual motorcycle (yet), but hope to join you guys soon enough!

Welcome branng - there is nothing to be ashamed about owning an e-scooter, especially in (cough, cough) polluted Beijing. Responsible non-polluting transport, without being stuck in 2 hour traffic jams. And an e-scooter always gets the best, free, parking spots. But if you want to hit the mountains, I think you'd need gas powered.
