So does Kawasaki ER6 clutch fit to 650nk as they are almost like a copy?
would have to take to take it out to see or contact someone who races one as if they fitted a ER6 ones then it must be a direct fit.
Kennon
If you can find out I'd be really interested to know which year of ER6/Versys engine the cfmoto is equivalent to
probably the earliest year
So there is same number of plates in Kawasaki clutch but so far I know when 650 has 2 2.0 metal plates and 4 x 2.5, Kawasaki has one 2.3 and 5 x 2.6 plates. So little difference there don't know if those other plates thickness on 650nk does anybody know those??
So Kawasaki thailand did not have any spare parts in stock and it would have been 3 week before parts would have been there, only thing what i got was new clutch springs and they are same.
it will be another 11 weeks before i go back there and try again my luck this time i will order EBC SRK 102 clutch package what includes everything but again takes 3 weeks to come, will need to order that in advance
After searching information about those clutches i can say that Kawasaki clutch should fit..
the thing is that while those Friction plates are the same size and you could just walk to Kawasaki dealer and buy new plates (CAUTION:NOT TESTED) but those metal plates have little different thickness.
While 650 has 6 metal plates their thickness are 4x2,5mm and 2x2mm total of 14mm BUT Er6 plates are 5x2,3 and 1x2,6 total of 14.1mm but as the difference is only 0.1mm
This is based ER6F 06-07 info.
I am intrested to try EBC SRK 102 but it seems to be hard to combine in Vietnam or in Thailand!
in Thailand it will take 3 weeks to arrive and will cost 6,508THB so it will take me several weeks to test this theory.
Also there are seller in England (Wemoto) who sells clutch for 650NK on Ebay
