Got on my bike at work, when I put on ignition the ecu light blinks 15 times, evenly timed then goes out. Bike is running fine and no light once on the go, anyone else experienced this as I can't find this error code in the handbook

So when you say reset the ecu do you mean unplug and re plug?
OP, do you mean 15 flashes e.g. 1 long flash = 10 plus 5 short flashes = 5 (10+5=15). Or, alternatively are you seeing 15 short flashes? If it's the latter, then it's a service interval code, meaning your bike is due for service. You aren't likely to find reference to that latter code in the manual should you have it.
Thanks Bikerdoc, yes my dealer has just confirmed that this occurs every 100 hours apparently so it will be reset when I get the bike in for its 1000 mile service saturday morning. Looking forward to being beyond the run in period so I can explore the performance of the machine properly
All sorted, EFI light is now reset. A sim
Did you watch the method of how the dealer reset the error code? It's useful to know how to clear that for a not-so-important code like your NK had...
Sorry I'm afraid I didn't watch, or ask, I was down the road overdosing on espresso and fish and chips:0)
Now thats taking the piss sorry i mean Fish & chips how i wish to have some! one of the main things i have missed here in China is to have some nice Cod and chips you have just upset me lol but then again i smoke to much but here in china i save £5000 a year compared to the prices in the UK so i cant have it allways Ho fags are only 60p a pack here in China and petrol is only 72p L and my gas bill was £30 for the year and the council tax/ service charges i paid £35 again for the year so it not all bad
