Surely all the ones on Taobao are just fake and melt leaving a black mess down the side of your engine!

ok I'm a bit of a rough bastard but I have to ask why would you even bother with these?

They reduce engine noise quite significantly, dont they?

My Sundiro Honda CBF150 came with those, and the end was indeed super quiet. Sundiro Honda spares are available, decent quality and relatively cheap.
