legal driving in Foshan/transferring bike

Hello to everybody!
It's a while I don't write...

Anyway. I have been transfered to Foshan, nearby Guangzhou. Here it's pretty diffucult idf not impossible to register a bike and I don't know what to do with mine.

I have a one year old honda cbf 150 in Chongqing, registered in my name, all legal.
What to do with it? Sell it or move it to Foshan and take my chances?
Anybody know for sure the worst that can happen? I am willing to take the risk of loosing the bike but not to be put in jail/deported or anything nasty.
Here every chinese have his own idea... traffic police included!

I don't think you're going to get in any trouble riding your legally plated ChongQing bike with your legal license in Foshan. If Foshan has a bike ban, then maybe you will, but driving a legal bike in a different province is different than driving with fake plates and no license.

Yes. There is a ban. Every legal bike has an additional red plate. There are anyway some bikes without.

Surely you'd just be breaking their bylaws and could lose your bike/fine at worst. I doubt that anything more serious is possible. But TIC, so you can never be too sure.
