Hi guys. I am having issues with my XP 200. It may be the stator or the CDI but I am going to start by replacing the battery... Only problem is that I can not figure out where to get a replacement battery. The manual says the battery model is 6FM9 with an 12V 9AH capacity. I get wheelchair batteries in my search results with those criteria. The DR200SE battery looks like it is different dimensions so I don't know about that either. Where do I get a new battery for my Qlink? Thanks in advance.
You're in the US, so try www.t-motorsports.com They actually put photos of each battery they sell, as well as model number, so find the general shape, then click to see the dimensions. They had both a standard one and a gel one for my TMEC 200, so I bought the gel one, charged it fully on the charger for a couple hours, and have had no problem the last week and a few days, lol. But it was only $36 including shipping ( actually cheaper by a few dollars than the standard one), so not too worried with the "experiment." Plus, the only other place I could find the battery (I never did look beyond Wal mart since I figured a motorcycle shop would cost even more than the one that may have fit my bike at Wal Mart which was $64) was www.atv4usa.com who are the distributors for TMEC. They wanted $45 plus shipping, and Alan, the head sales guy who I have dealt with alot getting parts, was not too sure on shipping batteries due to the acid ( they are really a wholesaler of bikes and parts to their dealers, so apparently have never had a request for an individual battery). Gel filled batteries are not subject to hazardous shipping issues. Hopefully they have a battery for you!
