overriding clutch comp.

hi guys, new to this site but have a problem that I hope someone can help me with.
I have a jetmax 250 scooter and the starter motor will not start the motor - I can hear the starter motor spinning but it will not turn the motor over. So I have undone the right hand side cover and to my horror found bits and pieces of metal on the bottom of the sump!!! :eekers: I assume it would be the overriding clutch plate as it would not engage with the crank shaft. Trouble is I am having trouble pulling off the flywheel to look into the overriding clutch comp. Has anyone got any ideas to help me please!!
