Pulse Adrenaline speedo problem

Firstly my speedo needle wasn't going above the 20 on the speedo, so i tried tightening it up thinking it may have just come loose or something but instead there was no speed registering at all.

Bought a brand new speedo cable from Chinese motorcycle parts online fitted it and still nothing.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is? The bike is still under its 5 year warranty being less than a year old I find it hard that the speedo cable even was broken in the first place.

Did you check the pinion and gear mechanism at the front wheel? If it's OK, then it must be something in the internal mechanics of the speedo itself.
