Radial brake master cylinder to 650 NK?
I plan to change Radial master cylinder and replace OEM master cylinder BUT..!
Will I get buy with 14mm or do I need 17mm? what I have read bigger is not better as it might lead brakes feeling like wood..
and original cylinder is anyway 14mm??
reason why I do this is that I also plan to change clutch to hydraulic.... :wheelchair:
Re: Radial brake master cylinder to 650 NK?
Do you mean change the caliper and the master cylinder? If not why only the master cylinder?
I changed the the pads to EBC, and it has improved the braking power and modulation a fair bit. I imagine switching the calipers to 4 piston from 2 piston would help, but would it really be cost effective?
Like people cutting their muffler, maybe iridium plugs and a higher flow air filter might be a more worthwhile power upgrade for a much less cash. Not that people who have already spent the money want to hear it. :naughty:
Re: Radial brake master cylinder to 650 NK?
:naughty:Well at the moment only master cylinder as i also plan to try hydraulic clutch so I want to have same looking levers on the bike, i was thinking maybe later change whole front end to USD from kawasaki Zx-14 but that will be later on if i found right parts, not sure if those will clear plastic bits.... :WTFamI

I think personally you'd be better advised going for performance upgrades rather than aesthetic upgrades. I like the idea of usd forks, but I'd worry that they'd fit properly.
