So, I'm getting valve rattle and have checked the clearances. How hard is it to remove and replace a broken valve or 2? Is it possible to be done with the engine in the frame?

Yeh I can get hold of the Valve's easily and cheaply enough. Just wondering if its an easy job that can be done without removing the enging from the frame? As the valve covers are in awkward places.
to replace the valves you need to remove the head . If you can remove the head then no need to remove the engine from the frame. Btw if the engine runs it doesn't have a broken valve. If its noisy then the clearance is too big or some moving part such as rocker or cam is worn.
Ah good to hear! Shall have to give the rocker a good look over tomorrow and fingers crossed its just that.
