I'm looking for a beater bike in China
I want to buy a cheap bike (probably Chinese) that I can use for learning the mechanics of motorcycles. I currently have a Zongshen RX3 and Ive started doing some basic maintenance on it myself, but I dont want to strip it down too much because if i mess something up, I'll have no way to go to work.
I'm planning a 6 month trip on the RX3 next spring and I need to be proficient enough to do my own repairs when the bike breaks down. I'm hoping that I can find another super cheap bike to learn mechanics on (less than 3,000 rmb).
You guys got any advice on bikes?

Whatever bike you pick up, I couldn't imagine it not helping you learn! I have learned quite alot on my TMEC 200 (export only) that is sold in the US with a Zongshen 200cc (aircooled CG style--ultra simple). I have seen people post some of the Chinese legal bikes put out by brands I have never heard of which I can imagine will be well within what you need! Good luck!!
