'Southeast Hainan Island Winter Tour '

Its mid winter on Hainan Island and after our New Year 'Guangxi bike tour ..it was time for another warm , blue skies and open road 'adventure .
We packed ' the black speedster for a day trip of 400 +/- km and a 6.30 AM departure . Target time to be back to our Xinglong mechanic to install our new GPS tracking device was 3 ish . Then a visit to the fishing boats for the days 'catch .
We packed as usual with water , picnic basket , rain gear , fully charged Sena blue tooth radios , extra fuel , jumper cables, big camera & small tool array. Hit the Hainan ring highway south just at daybreak with a light medium fog { visibility 1000 meters } .
Cruised at 120 - 125 kph down to Lingshui and exited for the 'Rainforests on Mt Diaolushan National Park @ 1100 + meters ...topped off with fuel 50 km before gate and was on top by 8.30 AM ..
Did a fabulous hike and had a great picnic brunch on the lake - then back out another way to the northeast . New mountain roads made for lots of speed , twists and turns - then onto east / west provincial highway to the mechanic . Installation went well and we 'swopped along the beach to the GangBei Inlet and fishing boats .
Enjoy the pics and we were home by 8 PM ...
Do note - we can help with motor bikes on Hainan Island and winter is the ultimate time to ride ..........
