Hi, ive recently bought a superbyke rmx 125, it starts fine with zero problems, but in first and second gear just as your opening the throttle it starts to splutter a little until yiu open the throttle up then it stops.
ive cleaned air filter but probleem still there.
Any ideas?

Carb's idle and main jet?
Hi, the bike never cuts out, i think the tick over is a little high, but have no adjusted anything yet.
According to that syndrome, 90%+ the idle jet is clogged .
Ah right cheers for the reply, so do you suggest I clean it?
Is this easily done?

Okay, so I took it to the mechanic today (after I cleaned the carb) the mechanic said the problem was the HT lead apparently, he said it must be arching out some where but when ive checked I can't see it arching at all, could this be the problem or ?
