Hi,
Would anyone on the forums know which big bore kit would fit on a Lifan 250GY-2?
The engine model is 173FMM, it's been mentioned before on these forums so perhaps someone knows.
I would also gladly accept any other suggestion about increasing the horsepower. The bike currently has around 19hp, and after months of usage it's starting to feel a bit "sluggish", at least for a 250.

Here are 2 pictures for you 1 of the engine and 1 of the engine dimensions.
Maybe just ask the big bore kit guys will it fit a Lifan 173FMM ?

I would suggest the same..
You could ask the people selling the kit, if they do not know I cannot imagine who would, other than an Engineer at Lifan or somebody that has the Lifan engine and utilized their YBR250 Yamaha Big Bore kit on it. If your serious then I imagine the people at Xlite should be interested in your plans, it makes their kit viable to sell to others that have the Lifan 173FMM engine.
The bolts are different, the Lifan has two where the Yamaha has four.
Looking on Taobao just now found a company who sell replacement Lifan heads for your engine with some better details of the head, it could help you
