Re: Sherpa, TRex, Roketa 124cc Street Bike MC-38??
Barnone, very cool. I've seen the little motorcycle with sidecar on a few websites. None of them specified whether they are street legal or not. Sure looks like fun though! Since you had a Ural, you are an experienced rider of sidecar rigs. Had a friend named Dave that worked parts at Destination HD in Tacoma with me. He was a huge, and really nice, gent. Not fat or overweight at all. He could not find a motorcycle that he and his wife could ride together, so he got a Ural sidecar rig, and loved it. Of course, he quickly became very good at "flying the sidecar"!

Well, I guess I can't complain. Back in 2007, and for a few years, I had three motorcycles at the same time. First, a 2005 Kawasaki KLR650, and a 2007 Royal Enfield 500, and the third was a 2007 Yamaha XT225. Later, I traded the KLR for a 2006 XL883 Sportster. She never whined or complained.

So, you ordered one of these also? Where did you order it from? I was looking at a website with them, and it said it has a 28" seat height. Also a 55 mph top speed.

Needless to say, we want to hear all about both of these new bikes you ordered.

I would guess that if you still had battery power, and had some lights on, and the scooter did not start, it might make you panic if you know very little of bike mechanics (including basic stuff). You might think 'major repair'. That is how one would go about getting a $100 deal like in the thread.
trexuk--I bet you would feel more "out of proportion" riding the other little mini that Skyteam makes (not sure if Lifan used to make these?)

At any rate--would love to hear about yours even though I envision it probably is not too different from the CT/DAX clones with the same engine (I believe you have/had one of those, too?)[/QUOTE]
Yep, had a SSR 125 BMW GS looking mini and a Pitsterpro 125 CT70 clone so I am going back that way for a while.Attachment 15777

The local kids love to ride in my sidecar so I had to get another one. Supposedly it is street legal but I can always ride it as a liquor cycle here in Western North Carolina. Plenty of out of the way paved and gravel roads here in the mountains to ride.
Re: Sherpa, TRex, Roketa 124cc Street Bike MC-38??
I think they show the top speed of the sidecar rig as 25mph. I probably should not even look at those. I've heard that for an old geezer biker that's long set in my ways, it could be a disaster trying to ride a trike or sidecar rig.
