Re: My day at PIT Motors LTD and the CCW Tha Heist
Not sure if CCW or PIT are carrying longer cables, but they are pretty standard pieces. If they can't help you should be able to match something up at a local shop or find something online.
Also, the Frisco bars are 1". The Heist is a 7/8 bar. You'd also need new switch housings (or lose all the switches), levers, throttle and risers. Lowbrow has the Biltwell Window bars in 7/8. A little different but cool none the less.

This is the motor upgrade I would like to do to my Dong Fang (same engine as the Heist) if it exists. CG400 400cc

Thanks guys, I thought Biltwell made them both in 1" and 7/8". The Windows are pretty cool too, I like that narrow tall look.
I'm just trying to plan ahead a little here and make sure I can find the parts to complete my vision before I pull the trigger on the bike.

do it man the bike is an awesome canvas.
Ok I got the bike home and took her for a run, the guys at PIT did me a solid and brought the bike out to me. no video but I'll take some this weekend as long as the weather is good. Took some pics of it at the house and will post them later.
Had the bike out for 5 miles around my town. Let me tell you she pulls and sounds awesome. the G&B shear power oil in her makes up so much a difference. The shifts are clean and she holds 55 at a pretty even rev none too high and wants to give you more. Any doubts I had that at taking her to Americade have faded. Definitely a fun ride.
I do have to say that its night and day compared to the df250rtb I had.
My brother, The HD rider, also took it out and approves. His only complaint that its too light, compared to his 1600cc Street Bob, and he didn't like the seat (didn't have his butt grove) LoL
Thats it for now, just glad its home.

Looks great in the light Gardo. I pretty much had the same bike as your brother and once I sat on the Heist I said holy crap this thing is light! That's what I liked about it though, the HD Dyna weighs in at around 650lbs which is an additional 400lbs compared to tha Heist. I'm really digging the bare bones look of the bobber, after chopping and getting rid of some other things it would be even lighter.

Yeah, a nice looking bike.
