Thumbs up guys, I like what y'all are doing with these Dong Bobbers.
Well while at O'riley's I had them give it a quick test, they said toast. but I think I may give it a charge anyway...but still am gonna buy a new one. maybe with some luck...which is much needed these past couple days, the old battery may have some life in it and I can store it and use it as a spare incase the next one fails down the road.

Its not plated so not sure where this was shot
I have never figured out..and probably will not cause I do not have it in me to abuse my bike.. how can you hold the front brake, and at the same time twist the throttle???
Pull the brake in and push down with your thumb against the throttle.I admit that I have done it in my youth. Now that I am older an just a smidge wiser,I don't do stuff like that.I care to much for my riding privlages to do burn outs, wheelies,or stoppies.Stoppies are unavoidable during panic stops sometimes.
Finally got the seat I ordered and now installed. Stock seat was angled to the left. Found it was the welded front bracket was off. No bending was going to correct without possibly cracking frame. The new seat was designed for a Harley. Using the stock seat frame, I fabricated a 6"x13" 16 gauge plate with a rear break at 90 degrees (for strength) Attached stock bolts thru bottom, then two bolts up into the new seat. Allowed a straight installation. Allows a natural angle sitting or at rest. Rides great.Attachment 5782Attachment 5783
GUN ROD,
Very nice looking seat. I bet it is comfortable.
