Re: CCW tha Heist
Wow, didn't know my brother was already in on the forums, figured I'd jump in. That guy at Pride of Cleveland was a dick, I would never refer anyone to deal with him. I also emailed the link from his website to Scott from CCW that discussed his hatred for all things chinese motorcycle. I hope that Scott finds another dealer in the cleveland area to sell his bikes through and was glad to find out that he was also working with state 8. I think with these few sales they've made lately they'll jump fully on board and keep a few bikes on hand to sell. Today is delivery day and I'm super excited to get my bike. I rode the one at state 8 for a good 20 minutes or so and loved every minute of it. I don't think I could remove the smile from my face the whole time I was riding.

Re: CCW tha Heist
Welcome to the forum Nailed! Looking forward to pics, they always go down well and we never get enough. It is great to see this enthusiasm for this kind of bike in the Heist and Dong Fang bobber threads, opened our eyes up a bit to the variety of chinabikes and their riders. Please do have a look around the rest of the forum too, we have dirt bikes, sports bikes and dual sports as well represented here, with some excellent ride reports and mechanical photo stories and good resources. Take care and ride safe.

Re: CCW tha Heist
I couldn't have said it better than Jape. Welcome Nailed. Glad to hear you and your brother like the Bikes. Scotty and the guys from PIT are real good people. I've just about turned my heist, the Widow, into a daily commuter from NJ to NYC she rides real nice and purrs. I have over 1000km or 630 miles on her as of yesterday and I've only had the bike for a month :riding:
Is this your first bike? Take pics and document everything it makes for great memories to share.
it will great to share stories

Re: CCW tha Heist
Yep, it's my first bike gardo. Glad to hear that you like the bike so much and get on it to ride regularly. I ordered it because I like the styling and that it was a company from cleveland. I'll take plenty of pics for sure after I get it, probably won't do many mods right away but the g&d exhaust is high on the priority list. Your bike looks awesome btw, great job on it!

Re: CCW tha Heist
She's a work in progress and my vision of her is almost complete. The G&D pipe sounds pretty good on the Videos that Kev cut must sound better in person.
For a first bike its a great pick. Just do yourself a favor if you will be riding for an extended period of time on it wear a kidney belt.
Hell on all rigid frames it should be part of the package LoL
I just picked up a hide of leather and will be making a new one for myself

Re: CCW tha Heist

I also got a nice package in the mail today including a couple of ccw t-shirts, stickers and a billeted gas cap! now if only the weather would cooperate for at least a short ride....

Re: CCW tha Heist
It went pretty well, got a couple of cosmetic adjustments to make on the bikes like readjusting how the turn signals are sitting right now, but pretty smoothly altogether. The weather didn't cooperate very well today but we got a quick ride down the road in before loading them up into the truck. It's now sitting comfortably in my garage and I plan on doing a little wrenching on Sunday to adjust the seat and rearrange the turn signals. I'll post pics in a couple of days when I get a chance, got a little muddy water on it to wipe down.
