All this info from everyone has been great. I just have yet to decide what i am gonna do. The inserts in the hub are a tad smaller than the threaded end of the stud.So the bolt holes on the sprocket are slightly bigger, and if i find something to fit into the the inserts in the hub..then the size is too small for the sprocket and will cause issues later. If I remove the inserts, then I have a big hole to deal with.Putting a heli-coil in the inserts only brings me to a smaller bolt for the sprocket... Plus I am thinking too hard on this..and my mind is numb.
Dan- a link to where you got your sprocket would be great..I figure since I already have this apart ..I should get the sprocket now.I like the way yours sounds like it turned out.
Maybe then i can figure out about the studs and go with that. I may just go ahead and order the studs from scooter depot today.. and hopefully get them within a decent enough time. But at the same time order a 36 tooth sprocket while I am at it.

Barnone's link for sprockets http://www.oldbikebarn.com/Motorcycl...?search=JTR279 ---- model number jtr279.35
I have a 428 DiD chain I got the sprocket for it from http://www.rebelgears.com/pricelist.html , while yours came with a 520 stock chain so you need the 520 sprocket
old bike barns cheaper , but didnt have the 35/36 tooth 428 : \
oh ya , get yerself a few strippers http://www.boltdepot.com/Shoulder_bolts.aspx?nv=l the larger shoulders than threads fill the sprocket holes , you would prob have to carry the sprocket and insert u intend to use into store for sizing

I bought a DF250rtc from ScooterGasMotor.com and I have no complaints. It was $1759 + shipping, extra warranty, shipping ins = $2236 Total.
The one they have listed is a JinLun JL250p, but they ended up shipping me a DongFang 250rtc instead after confirming the shipping change with me, which ended up being a good thing since for whatever reason the JinLun is not able to be licensed in FL.

Word of advice: When doing final assembly out of crate, go through bike thoroughly and make sure ALL bolts are tight and use blue loctite at your discretion, and check fuel lines, brake lines, and vacuum hoses for kinks. The QC on Chinese bikes isn't the greatest.
Beware of some of the sites listing very cheap and make sure they aren't trying to scam you, asking for money order payment.
I just realized after writing all this that you were looking for the bobber model not the sport model :\
