75k?
Ive asked about RS650r yesterday and after about 1h (which would indicate that he actually checked) they replied and said RMB69800. Also said that a discount is possible so I reckon Id be able to get it for 68k-69K
Oh yes. I didnt know you were talking about the final price.
In this case the 650 will cost around 77K.
I also wasnt sure whether the RS650R is available in China thats why Ive asked and he has send me a picture to confirm. Its definitely the RS not SM he was talking about. This dealer is pretty good and Ive only had good experience there so I trust him. He also said that they are in a process of registering their shop as a SWM test ride place. Not sure if this gonna happen but they are trying. It will take minimum 2-3 months tho. He is going to let me know if it happens
Where is your dealer located and does he has the RS650R in the shop?
They do have quite big rotation in the shop so Im not sure whether he has it in the shop. Ive spoke to him on wechat. Not been in the shop for about 2 months but if I had to guess Id say no. He doesnt have it. He said it takes 2-3 days to get it delivered thoigh
The dealer in located in Taizhou, Zhejiang. 300km south from Ningbo.
I can provide his wechat if you want to talk to him. Just add mine - jaro11111
Hi ShuBen
The location on the shop is very close to my location when I get back to China at the end of March.
If you can wait I can pop in to the shop and see what is what.
Hi There - I'm a complete newbie with the bikes and still trying to get my dammed licence here in Shanghai ! However I am staying positive and hoping to ride to Tibet around Sept 2018. I therefore will be looking to buy a bike (Dual Sports.. ?) fairly soon and do LOTS of trips and practice before my big trip. I would therefore appreciate it if anyone can give me their thoughts on the Suzuki Vstrom 650, KTM 690 and the SWM RS650r ? It seems there is a big price difference between the KTM690 and the SWM RS650r with the Suzuki coming in somewhere in between the 2. As a complete novice I would love to get the thoughts of anyone with experience and knowledge of these bikes with a view to riding in Tibet and doing lots of runs such as Shanghai - Huangshan etc. Many thanks - Richard
The 650 Wee is the one IMO.
The easy part is getting the right bike,
The hard bit as I see it will be trying to ride around Tibet alone with no booked tour.
Well good luck on both parts.
Both the other 2 bikes are very good but as you are new to biking then I think the Wee will be a better choice.
The other 2 are a bit more for advanced riders again IMO.
But also have a look at this bike.
