Yup - he's one of us, now ... he acquired a very nice, shiny blue ____ with an "A" plate ... European version, of course (Barry is very tall - makes me feel Chinese).
We Beijing riders are trying to catch up to our Shanghai brethren in terms of # of _____s owned/ridden by foreigners.
Barry's little sweety (and standing next to Barry, she is indeed very small) will be happy!
I'll let Barry reveal the make & model, as I am sure I have not given it away! :lol8:
Forget about the bike, how about a picture of Barry's little sweety?
I bet's it's a blue jialing!

Back in my office now, just did my first 20 km on my JH600 in the shitty BJ traffic. I can smell my cold sweat now.
I'm sorry I didn't take any picture yet, was way to excited to finally get the bike.
Congratulations, Barry! I've seen that bike and it's a thing of beauty.
Any chance she looks like this?

Dear Barry,
That comes as something of a relief! I was thinking Richard had flogged his bike to you, which would have been great for you, but left him without a JH. I'll admit I was confused by your reference to a blue bike. Very pleased to know you managed to get a recent JH600, and hope you got a great deal on it. If yours dates to 2008 or 2009, it's the same model as mine -- more steel, less alloy, so a bit more weight, but not much. At 200cm you'll be a great fit on the Euroversion; I'm 180cm and can't quite put both heels down on my Euroversion.
You sure your bike has the polkadot decals? If so, it's less than 2 years old. The polkadot model is the 威虎版 "mighty tiger edition", which launched in 2010. Alloy bars, alloy rims, maybe even alloy swingarms. As the legend goes, my bike was the very last of the pre-tiger JH600s.
Either way, you've got the right bike for your size and needs. Let's see some pix!
cheers
Here are some pictures. I'll try to make some daylight pics tomorrow.
